We have always felt very strongly about presenting a beautiful space to our guests. We know and trust you will be returning it pretty much as you found it, but as a reminder: as you are getting ready to leave, there are a few things you can do to help us be prepared to safely re-set the house. These small actions on your part, before you go, will give us a big head start as we arrive right behind you to strip it down, deep clean it, and put it all back together, hopefully in time for dinner.

Please don’t leave us any food.

Completely empty the refrigerator and freezer. Wipe out any bad spills.

Empty the dishwasher and dish drainer and put away the kitchenware as best you can.

Empty the kitchen pail and bathroom waste baskets.

Place your trash bags and clear bag of cans and bottles (recycling) in the containers in the garbage corral, cardboard and newspapers bundled and left on top. Use the attached bungee cord to secure the garbage pail lid.

Strip the beds and leave the bedding in the laundry basket in each room. We will launder it. Please do not combine the baskets.

Launder and return the washed towels to the linen closet, beach blankets to the basket in the Fish Shack.

Return any furniture that might have been moved to the way you found it.

Make sure all of the beach gear and the bistro chairs are put away in the Fish Shack.

Close the doors but leave ALL of the windows and curtains wide open, weather permitting. No need to lock up.

Check under the beds for shoes and don’t forget your toothbrush.
