East Asian curries, giant salads and noodle dishes to Caribbean style smoked pork. Fresh pesto and pasta. Garden-grown herbs, tomatoes and peppers. In-house pickles. Local oysters and clams. Long Island sweet corn. Grill-roasted chicken. Fresh fish tacos. French fries. The Thursday Night Steamers Special! Fresh fruit popsicles and homemade ice cream and birthday cake. And Oh! the paella!
The Little Jumping Dog House is the happy home to a refurbished 1970's era Spaziale3000 single group commercial espresso machine and a rebuilt Mazzer Super Jolly burr grinder. We proudly brew Counter Culture beans thanks to our continuing friendship with NYC's Third Rail Coffee. There is no better coffee on Fire Island.
Fresh summer produce and local seafood play a large role in the Little Jumping Dog House cuisine. As much as possible is grown on-site in tiny little gardens. The rest is sourced locally on Long Island. We especially value the personal relationships forged with Kaler's Farm in West Babylon, Teddy Bolkas' organic Thera Farms in Brentwood. and Blue Island Oyster Company in Sayville.
